LOVELAND, Colo. — Centerra, a 3,000 acre master-planned community developed by master developer McWhinney, has announced a partnership with Barre Forte as its newest tenant at The Marketplace at Centerra, the 500,000-square-foot retail center located in Loveland. Centerra and Barre Forte are proud to celebrate the studio’s successful launch and expansion into northern Colorado.

Founded in 2012, the fitness company selected Centerra last winter when planning its entrance into the northern Colorado market with its eighth location in Colorado. Given the prime location, strong community base and business-focused fundamental characteristics within the master-planned community, Centerra has supported the studio’s successful launch during the COVID-19 climate by providing an open air environment within a park setting so instructors could offer members outdoor and online class options until their doors could officially open. The company’s existing studios are located in Colorado Springs, LoHi/LoDo, Southmoor Park/Cherry Hills, Summit County, Vail Valley, Washington Park and Westminster.

Centerra and Barre Forte invite community members and guests to celebrate the studio’s grand opening and enjoy free classes on Saturday, June 27th and Sunday, June 28th.

Barre Forte NoCo is adhering to its studio safety protocols by following CDC, state and local health guidelines, federal OSHA standards and HIPAA requirements in relation to COVID-19. The studio will implement daily protocols such as social distancing through limited class sizes to allow for a minimum of six feet of distance between individuals, diligent cleaning, in addition to implementing ongoing disinfecting measures to ensure the health and safety of its members and instructors.

To provide the best experience for members at a time when the studio cannot operate at full capacity, Barre Forte offers members the opportunity to register for outdoor and virtual classes, in addition to its in-studio classes, in order to provide options based on comfort levels and schedules.

Certified barre instructors Molly Kainuma and Laura Morrell own and operate the new studio. Barre Forte has leased 1,001 square feet for its NoCo/Loveland location, situated at 1569 Fall River Drive, Suite 145. The studio is located in the center of The Marketplace at Centerra, positioned between Jimmy John’s and Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt.

Barre Forte’s modern, open studio will offer group workouts seven days a week, with limited capacity given COVID-19 guidelines. In a 60-minute class, Barre Forte’s workouts can burn between 400 and 600 calories, using a combination of fat-burning interval training, muscle-carving strength training and isometric holds that exhaust the muscles. Each section of the workout is followed by stretching to result in a stronger, leaner physique. The workout is low-impact and designed to benefit people of all fitness levels. The studio is currently offering participants the flexibility of memberships, class packages or drop-in fee options.

Colorado-based fitness concept Barre Forte’s expansion to The Marketplace at Centerra represents the addition of a fitness tenant among the retail center’s shops, cafes and restaurants. Serving as a hub for nearby residents, employees and visitors, The Marketplace at Centerra includes tenants such as Target, PetSmart, Bed Bath & Beyond and Old Navy, and features popular dining establishments including Chipotle, Noodles & Company and Panera Bread. The Marketplace at Centerra is 94% leased, attesting to the continued popularity of its convenient location and variety of retail offerings.
