Centerra Outdoor Fitness Series Starts July 10

LOVELAND, COLO. – July 6, 2015 – The third annual Centerra Fitness Series returns on Friday, July 10. Centerra and its partner, Miramont Lifestyle Fitness, will activate the Great Lawn Friday mornings and the Lake Club Saturday mornings by offering free outdoor fitness classes in northern Colorado. The six-week community fitness series will feature a variety of active and educational classes each focusing on a different weekly activity.

New this year, the fitness series will expand and offer additional fitness classes on Saturday mornings at The Lakes at Centerra. “We are excited to partner with Miramont Lifestyle Fitness and The Lakes at Centerra to extend our outdoor summer fitness program during the month of July,” commented Celeste Smith, Centerra Community Life Director. “The one hour active sessions are great for the entire family, open to all skill levels and allows community members to interact with Miramont certified instructors in a beautiful outdoor setting.”

The 2015 Centerra Fitness Series includes:
Friday, July 10: Boot Camp – at Chapungu Sculpture Park – strength conditioning and group circuits
Saturday, July 11: Boot Camp – at The Lakes at Centerra – strength conditioning and group circuits
Friday, July 17: Zumba – at Chapungu Sculpture Park – strength, balance and coordination
Saturday, July 18: Zumba – at The Lakes at Centerra – strength, balance and coordination
Friday, July 24: Yoga – at Chapungu Sculpture Park – strength, balance and coordination
Saturday, July 25: Yoga – at The Lakes at Centerra – strength, balance and coordination
Friday, July 31: Kickboxing – at Chapungu Sculpture Park – cardio, conditioning, and muscular toning
Friday, August 7: Centergy – at Chapungu Sculpture Park – combination of yoga and pilates movements
Friday, August 14: Boot Camp – at Chapungu Sculpture Park – strength conditioning and group circuits

Friday fitness classes will be held outdoors from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on the Great Lawn at Chapungu Sculpture Park at Centerra, conveniently located at I-25 and Hwy. 34 on the corner of Centerra Parkway and Kendall Parkway just east of Macy’s at The Promenade Shops at Centerra.

Saturday fitness classes will be held outdoors from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on the Pool Deck at The Lakes at Centerra, located at the Lake Club at 4555 Long Pine Lake Drive off Boyd Lake Avenue and Hwy. 34.

All classes are free and open to all ages and fitness levels. All classes will be led by a Miramont Lifestyle Fitness certified instructor. There are no caps on class sizes and water will be provided.
