Centerra Volunteer Day
Join us at Old Canal Park for Centerra Volunteer Day, when Centerra residents & local businesses come together to clean up & give back!
The High Plains Environmental Center will be leading a Cleanup Event around Houts Resevoir, Equalizer Lake, and the surrounding open spaces for this year’s Centerra Volunteer Day. Join us that day in cleaning up and caring for the natural areas that make Centerra such a special place to live and work in.
Participants will meet at the Old Canal Park pavilion/picnic area to sign in & receive group assignments. Please arrive by 8:30am so that we can begin Safety Training at 8:45am. Groups will set out on the trails promptly at 9am. Gloves & Garbage Bags will be provided on-site.
When you’re done, continue to give back while filling up at the Centerra Food Truck Roundup! While this event is not technically part of the Centerra Volunteer Day cleanup event, it is a great way to end a morning of hard work & service to your community!
