Wild in Wildlife

Join wildlife conservationist David Neils at HPEC Friday night, June 15th from 6:00pm-7:30pm to learn about the cool animals you rarely see but are found throughout Colorado, beginning with mountain lions. Learn some new things and teach others. For example, did you know there is a connection between grasshoppers and mountain lions? Discover how to make a difference for these amazing animals. Most importantly, do what you can to keep the wild in wildlife.

The presentation Friday night will be followed by a hike at Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch the next morning from 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Space will be limited to 15 children. On the hike you’ll see firsthand where these animals live, hunt, raise young and survive in all kinds of weather.

For ages 5-12. Kid’s tickets are $10, and come with a free Adult Pass. Please see our website for a link to purchase tickets on Eventbrite. All children must be accompanied by an adult for the presentation and the hike. If you have any questions please feel free to call us or email Lauren@suburbitat.org.
