Fifth Annual WineDown the Summer at Centerra
LOVELAND, COLO.— AUGUST 21, 2012 — The 5th Annual WineDown the Summer takes place on Friday, September 7 from 6-9 p.m. at Chapungu Sculpture Park located east of the Promenade Shops at Centerra.
The evening event promises to provide a respite from the harried pace of the summer season. Fine wines and savory finger foods catered from local restaurants will complement acoustic jazz presented by Adam Bodine Trio in a one-of-a-kind outdoor park setting.
WineDown attendees can experience the distinctive natural setting of Chapungu Sculpture Park, which offers pathways to explore Shona African stone sculptures.
An evening of music, culture and great food and wine is $35 per person, $65 per couple or $30/person for a group of 10 or more. Cost includes souvenir wine glass, unlimited tastings, finger foods and musical Jazz entertainment.
A portion of the event proceeds will benefit the Thompson Valley Rotary Club Foundation and be distributed throughout the local community to support youth, community groups, causes and the environment.
Tickets for WineDown the Summer at Centerra can be purchased online (credit cards accepted) at www.localwineevents.com or in person (cash only) at Brix Wine & Spirits, 6130 Crossroads Blvd. and at The Promenade Shops at Centerra, Main Office, 5971 Sky Pond Drive, Suite OFC. Tickets can also be purchased onsite the evening of the event if not already sold out. Sorry no refunds. Event will take place rain or shine.
