Centerra is kicking off the new year and celebrating those on the medical frontlines while spreading valentine\u2019s cheer as Loveland\u2019s Chamber of Commerce celebrates its 75th<\/sup> Valentine Anniversary in 2021.<\/p>\n

To help continue lifting the community\u2019s spirits in the new year and express support for local healthcare heroes, Centerra and its partners announced they will keep their holiday lights turned on through the end of the month at multiple locations, including Chapungu Sculpture Park in the Centerra Metro District, and the Centerra Marketplace and Promenade Shops. Centerra is joining the Keep Your Lights Up for Healthcare Heroes <\/em>national and local initiative to support and recognize the committed and hardworking medical professionals.<\/p>\n

\u201cBusinesses within Centerra employ more than 8,000 people and our community is beyond grateful for the unwavering commitment brought forth by local medical professionals that treat thousands of patients each month at Centerra,\u201d stated David Crowder, vice president of Realberry and general manager of Centerra. \u201cThanks to their services, our vibrant community has remained resilient during these challenging times and we feel fortunate to be open for business.\u201d<\/p>\n

Centerra is thrilled to expand its community partnership with local organizations such as the Loveland Chamber of Commerce, City of Loveland, Centerra Metro District, Visit Loveland and My Big Day Events to provide safe, memorable and socially distanced ways to continue expressing love and kindness within the community coming off the heels of the holidays.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are committed to providing our community residents, visitors and guests with memorable family-friendly activities that are safe, socially-distanced and celebrate our community,\u201d commented Celeste Smith, senior marketing director for Realberry. \u201cWe welcome everyone to come explore Centerra and Loveland for the day or weekend and experience all the wonderful and unique amenities you can\u2019t find elsewhere.\u201d<\/p>\n

On February 1, Chapungu Sculpture Park will transform its Winter Wonderlights holiday hues to thousands of colorful red and pink strings of lights and sweetheart-themed d\u00e9cor backed by romantic music, nightly from 5-9 p.m. This is free and open to the public through February 14. Visitors who attended in December are encouraged to return to immerse themselves in an outdoor sweetheart setting providing more photo opportunities within the park\u2019s natural backdrop.<\/p>\n

Loveland is home to two of the largest love lock sculptures in the U.S., with one located in Centerra, right off Highway 34 at the Loveland Visitor\u2019s Center. Love Locks can be purchased, and individuals can lock their love in the nation\u2019s Sweetheart City on a beautiful piece of art. The 2021 official Loveland Valentine\u2019s Card and Sweetheart Coffee Blend can also be purchased at the Loveland Visitors Center located at 5400 Stone Creek Circle.<\/p>\n

Couples are invited to participate in the annual Loveland Valentine\u2019s Day Group Wedding taking place this year at the beautiful outdoor Chapungu Sculpture Park at Centerra on Sunday, February 14th at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. Participation will be capped to ensure the event remains safe and socially distanced. Tickets are required and available online<\/a> for interested couples looking to tie the knot or renew their vows in a special ceremony with plenty of romantic touches. Couples traveling in for the ceremony looking to extend their stay can secure hotel accommodations at Centerra\u2019s Courtyard by Marriott<\/a>, located adjacent to Chapungu.<\/p>\n
