Published: April 23, 2009

LOVELAND, CO – April 23, 2009 – McWHINNEY is proud to recognize the official grand opening of Constant Contact®, Inc. with a ribbon cutting ceremony and public tour on Tuesday, April 28 at 10:00 a.m. Located in Centerra at 3675 Precision Drive, the new facility is the first expansion beyond Constant Contact’s corporate headquarters in Waltham, Massachusetts.

Special guest, Gail Goodman, Chief Executive Officer, Constant Contact, and other local officials will offer comments followed by a ceremonial ribbon cutting. Loveland Mayor Gene Pielin, who officially proclaimed April 28 as “Support Small Business Day” in honor of the grand opening and Constant Contact’s local customers, will present the official proclamation. Following the ceremony, attendees are invited to join a facility tour.

With more than 250,000 worldwide customers, Constant Contact, a leading provider of email marketing and online surveys for small organizations, expects to employ more than 100 workers at its Centerra location by year end. During the peak of construction activity at the facility, there were approximately 75 construction workers on the job daily. The project was under construction from July 2008 to February 2009.

“The most valuable asset to Constant Contact is our people, whether that is our more than 250,000 customers or the members of the Constant Contact team,” said Gail Goodman, Chief Executive Officer, Constant Contact. “We are delighted to grow our Loveland presence and believe this expansion will help us meet the needs of our business today and into the future.”

McWHINNEY led the construction of Constant Contact’s 50,000 square foot office building, which began in July 2008. The building’s design maximizes the comfort and productivity of its occupants with incredible views of the mountains, a highly flexible VAV HVAC system, a large employee break room with an exterior patio, and easy connections to the trails at Centerra.

“The Centerra community warmly welcomes Constant Contact into its new permanent residence,” said Jay Hardy, VP & General Manager – Centerra. “Not only do we believe this is the right space for any business to grow and prosper, but Centerra is also the right place for employees to take advantage of all the amenities that Northern Colorado has to offer.”

The project team included McWHINNEY, Dohn Construction, WareMalcomb – Denver, Burkett Design, Northern Engineering Service, Inc., and BHA Design, Inc. Catalyst Planning Group, LLC is the tenant representative for the project.
