LOVELAND, CO – October 3, 2008 – Ghouls and goblins come to life at The Marketplace at Centerra with the opening of Spirit Halloween, a national Halloween retailer offering a full line of costumes and decorations, and the second annual Halloween Hullabaloo, a family-fun street festival on Saturday, October 25.

Situated between Staples and Justice Just For Girls, Spirit Halloween has a full selection of adult, children and pet costumes along with decorations, makeup and accessories, and wigs, hats and masks. The 1661 Rocky Mountain Avenue location is open through November 2, Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Spirit Halloween is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year with more than 600 locations in 48 states.

On Saturday, October 25, The Marketplace at Centerra will transform into Halloween headquarters with the Halloween Hullabaloo from noon to 4:30 p.m. The street festival will take place on Fall River Drive (from Panera Bread to Noodles), and families can enjoy picking out their favorite decorated pumpkin at the Pumpkin Patch, visiting a safety fair featuring Loveland Fire and Police Departments and Larimer County Search & Rescue, and participating in face and caricature painting, balloon twisting, inflatable play centers and more.

The festival will feature a costume parade with candy stops at 3 p.m. followed by a costume contest at 3:30 p.m. with entries for all members of the family including children, adults, groups and even family pets. Proceeds from the Pumpkin Patch will benefit Partners Mentoring Youths of Larimer County.

Admission to the Halloween Hullabaloo is free.

Located west of Interstate 25 and north of Highway 34, The Marketplace at Centerra is one of the largest contiguous power centers in Northern Colorado. For more information on the Halloween Hullabaloo, please visit www.centerracolorado.com.
