National Wildlife Federation Community Wildlife Habitat Celebration

Join us at High Plains Environmental Center (HPEC) to celebrate Centerra’s certification by the National Wildlife Federation (NWF) as the first Community Wildlife Habitat in the state of Colorado. A Community Wildlife Habitat project creates multiple habitat areas in backyards, schoolyards, corporate properties, community gardens, parkland and other spaces.

This community event will include a native plant sale, bird banding, scavenger hunt and trivia, tours of HPEC’s native landscapes, and a ceremony to honor the community residents who helped Centerra earn the certification by certifying their own gardens. The event will also feature a silent auction, live music, food trucks, an address by the Mayor of Loveland and a Ranger Rick photo booth! Don’t miss this fun and educational community event!
