Learn More About Grand Station at an Upcoming Community Meeting and Model Open House
LOVELAND, CO – August 14, 2007 – McWHINNEY cordially invites the public to a second Community Meeting tomorrow evening, Wednesday, August 15 to learn more about the Grand Station proposal that is currently before the Loveland City Council. In addition, McWHINNEY is holding a public open house the following afternoon, Thursday, August 16 to allow community members to experience the Grand Station at Centerra three-dimensional model.
The Community Meeting offers citizens an opportunity to ask questions in person about Grand Station, Centerra, and McWHINNEY and get the facts from Chad McWhinney and other McWHINNEY Associates. Where: Chilson Recreation Center, 700 E. Fourth St.
The next afternoon, the public can see the Grand Station at Centerra model first-hand during an open house. Although not an exact replica, the ten-by-fourteen-foot model brings the conceptual design to life with electric lighting and a Grand Streetcar. Slated to open fall 2009, Grand Station will be a 45-acre, LEED certified, mixed-use development east of The Promenade Shops. A first-of-its-kind in Northern Colorado, Grand Station will provide a vibrant mix of shopping, dining, entertainment, hospitality, office and medical, fitness, civic and living opportunities, all designed to create an authentic and fabled experience.
