Centerra: A Bustling Employment Center with 200+ New Jobs

LOVELAND, CO. – MAY 25, 2011 – Centerra continues to serve Northern Colorado as a bustling employment center that attracts leading businesses and retailers to its award-winning master-planned community. McWHINNEY is pleased to announce that four new businesses and two new restaurants have already opened for business or will soon call Centerra home in the coming months.

Agrium U.S.A., a major retail supplier of agricultural products and services, recently expanded its operations into the Rangeview One office building. Tenant finish was completed in May and over 40 employees are now in occupancy. This leading global producer and marketer of agricultural nutrients and industrial products is located at 2725 Rocky Mountain Avenue. The Agrium companies now occupy three buildings at the Rangeview Office Campus with a total of 125,000 SF along the shores of Equalizer Lake and Houts Reservoir.

Antea Group’s Colorado branch secured space in Precision Office Park at Centerra and relocated its 23 employees to new offices at 3855 Precision Drive. As an international engineering and environmental consulting firm, Antea Group serves clients around the world. The Colorado branch works with clients throughout the western region and specializes in air quality permitting, compliance audits, environmental liability management and transaction support services. In the United States, the firm was known as Delta Consultants prior to January 2011.

Global Scholar, a global leader in educational research and solutions helping schools achieve educational excellence, will be locating their business to Hahns Peak One located at 4850 Hahns Peak Drive in Centerra. Global Scholar will occupy 13,000 SF of space to bring the building to 97% occupancy.

The Eye Center of Northern Colorado, a full-service eye treatment medical center, will open a new location at Sky Pond Office Building at the entrance to the Promenade Shops at Centerra. The Eye Center will share the building with Kennedy and Coe and occupy the first floor, offering eye examinations, visual evaluations and LASIK surgery to the local community.

“We are finding there is high demand for quality office space and our activity levels are the best they’ve been in three years,” commented Ron Kuehl, vice president of real estate for McWHINNEY. “We have been working with these companies since last summer and there is competition for the prime space at Centerra.”

The Marketplace at Centerra, located west of Interstate 25 and north of Highway 34 in Loveland, will welcome two new retail partners. Menchie’s and Buffalo Wild Wings will join the largest contiguous power center in Northern Colorado this year.

Menchie’s, the ultimate customizable frozen yogurt experience will open its newest franchise location at 1569 Fall River Drive and is slated to open at the end of May. Menchie’s is a family destination where kids and adults can mix and match their favorite frozen yogurt flavors and toppings.

Buffalo Wild Wings, one of the Top 10 Fastest-Growing Restaurant Chains in the country, has begun remodeling the former Black Eye Pea restaurant space located at The Marketplace at Centerra. Anticipated opening is slated for August.
