Published: March 11, 2009

LOVELAND, CO – March 11, 2009 – McWHINNEY is proud to announce the construction completion of the second Medical Office Building at Centerra, which is directly connected to the north side of Poudre Valley Health System’s Medical Center of the Rockies. The North Medical Office Building, 2500 Rocky Mountain Avenue, is home to Medical Clinic at Centerra, P.C., which is part of the Greeley Medical Clinic family.

The North Medical Office building encompasses 85,000 square feet with Medical Clinic at Centerra, P.C. occupying half of the building. The Medical Clinic at Centerra employs an estimated 120 staff and provides access to 25 physicians.

“We are very pleased to see our doors open at the Medical Clinic at Centerra, P.C.,” said Barbara Yosses, Chief Executive Officer, Greeley Medical Clinic. “The convenience and direct proximity with physicians at MCR will positively impact our patients and in turn our communities’ overall health.”

The North Medical Office Building offers patients easy access to physicians, the synergy of multiple practices and specialties, generous parking and immediate enclosed connectivity to the hospital.

Rulon Stacey, President and CEO of Poudre Valley Hospital, said, “The presence of Medical Clinic at Centerra on the Medical Center of the Rockies campus will have an enormous benefit for health care in the region. The extremely high quality services offered by both MCR and the Medical Clinic at Centerra are located within a few steps of each other.”

George Hayes, MCR president and CEO, said the North Medical Office Building is a huge step in the ongoing development of the 91-acre MCR campus. This is the second medical office building to open on the campus. The building of the regional hospital included the construction of the South Medical Office Building. Both opened in February 2007.

“The North Medical Office Building and the presence of the Medical Clinic at Centerra add another significant accomplishment in our goal of continuing to offer patients convenient access to world-class health care,” Hayes said.

Ron Kuehl, VP of Real Estate, McWHINNEY, comments, “The medical campus at Centerra continues to draw interest, and we now have over twenty physician practices and ancillary service providers that are working together to build a community of care for the benefit of the entire Northern Colorado region.”

The project team for the North Medical Office building includes McWHINNEY, Delta Construction, Vaught Frye Architects, Adonia Professional Services, AE Engineering, BHA Design, and TST Engineers.

Available space at the North Medical Office Building includes 41,000 square feet, which can accommodate up to another 20 providers.
