Wild Wonderful Weekend: Into the Wild

10 AM - 9 PM

September 12 | 10am – 9pm | Chapungu Sculpture Park at Centerra

Saturday is where Wild Wonderful Weekend comes alive in full color and keeps going long after the sun goes down. From daytime discovery to an unforgettable night under the stars, Chapungu Sculpture Park transforms throughout the day into an immersive celebration of music, nature, wildlife, art, and community.

10 AM–2 PM | Explore the Wild

Start your day with an adventure through the park, where 20+ wildlife experts and nature organizations bring the natural world to life. Meet fascinating live animal ambassadors, connect with local conservation organizations, discover native plants, and learn from the people working to protect and preserve Colorado’s wild places.

Wander through the Artisan Market, featuring 25+ local makers and creatives offering nature-inspired, handmade, and sustainably sourced goods. Discover one-of-a-kind art, gifts, and creations while enjoying interactive activities, unexpected art installations, and plenty of opportunities for the whole family to explore and play.

Challenge yourself on the ropes course, let the kids dive into hands-on experiences, and explore everything Chapungu has to offer. And come hungry! Numerous food vendors will be serving up delicious options throughout the festival, making it easy to grab a bite and keep exploring.

All Day | A Soundtrack for the Wild

The festival’s soundtrack starts early and evolves throughout the day, with each performance bringing its own energy to the lawn:

10 AM | Kutandara
Kick things off with the vibrant rhythms of Kutandara, bringing the energy of Zimbabwean-inspired marimba music to the festival.

12 PM | Zimbira
Keep the celebration going with Zimbira and their infectious blend of Zimbabwean music and Afro-fusion rhythms.

2:30 PM | School of Rock
The afternoon shifts into a casual, local showcase as talented young performers from School of Rock take the stage. It’s the perfect transition from daytime exploration into the evening festivities and a chance to cheer on some of Northern Colorado’s rising musicians.

4:30 PM | Tierro Band
As happy hour arrives, Tierro Band turns up the energy with music made for getting on your feet. Grab a drink, grab a friend, and dance your way toward the evening’s headlining performance.

7 PM | Those Crazy Nights — Journey Tribute Band
As the sun goes down, the lawn transforms into a full-scale concert venue under the Colorado sky. Those Crazy Nights takes the stage for an electric, high-energy performance and spectacular light show, bringing the iconic sound of Journey to life. Sing along to the hits you know, dance under the stars, and settle in for an unforgettable night at Chapungu.

A Celebration Made Possible by Community

Wild Wonderful Weekend is presented by Centerra Engagement Assembly (CEA), whose vision and commitment to bringing the community together make this celebration possible.

We’re also proud to shine a light on High Plains Environmental Center (HPEC), our beneficiary and one of the visionaries behind Centerra’s Certified Wildlife Habitat designation through the National Wildlife Federation. HPEC has played an important role in shaping the natural landscape of Centerra and championing the connection between people, wildlife, native plants, and the places we call home. Saturday is an opportunity to experience that vision firsthand and support the work that continues to make our community wild at heart.

This celebration is made even stronger through the support of our incredible community partners: Visit Loveland, Promenade Shops at Centerra, Chapungu Sculpture Park, Reporter-Herald, Townsquare Media, and The Hub Café at Kinston.

From wildlife encounters and nature discovery to local artisans, incredible music, delicious food, youth performers, and a spectacular night under the stars, Saturday is a celebration of everything that makes this community, and this place, so wonderfully wild.

Explore the wild. Find your rhythm. Stay for the show.
